The following schedule of benefits is hereby adopted for all full-time employees of the Village of Southampton other than full-time police officers:

1/60 noncontributory -- fifty-five- year plan
Personal days
2 days per year, nonaccumulative
Vacation
1 to 5 years service
10 working days
6 to 10 years service
15 working days
11 to 15 years service
20 working days
16 to 20 years service
20 working days
Medical and hospitalization
New York State Insurance -- statewide plan
Vacation
After 1 year of service; no accumulation of vacation from year to year without approval of department head, not to exceed 30 days (for special reason). After first year, vacation must be taken during fiscal year from June 1 to May 31.
On retirement
At age 55 or older, the village will pay up to 40 days of unused sick time. This does not apply to uniformed police officers.
Conferences
One five-day conference annually for all village department heads. Any additional can be had with approval of the Village Board, at own expense, and time to be charged to vacation time; must be held within the State of New York and must be approved by the Village Board, a report to be filed with the Village Board.
Illness
After 3 days of absence due to illness in any consecutive thirty-day period, a doctor's certificate will be required at the discretion of the department head.

New Year's Day, Washington's Birthday, Lincoln's Birthday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Election Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas
Good Friday Staff: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Other: 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
