Borough of Franklin Park, PA Chapter 27 Historical Committee

§ 27-1 Establishment.

The Historical Committee is established for the purposes of preserving Franklin Park history.

§ 27-2 Members.

Membership on the Committee shall be filled by volunteers from the community.

§ 27-3 Meetings.

The Committee shall meet on at least a quarterly basis.

§ 27-4 Powers and duties.

A. Any materials or artifacts that are given to the Borough shall be stored in the Borough Building and become the property of Franklin Park Borough.

B. The Committee shall catalog all such materials and artifacts.

C. The Committee shall work directly with the Borough Manager or his/her designated representative to accomplish its mission.

D. The Committee's recommendations shall be advisory in nature and not binding upon Borough Council.
