Village of Oxford, NY Chapter 61 Vehicles, Village-Owned

Article I General Provisions

[Adopted 12-4-1990]

§ 61-1 Vehicles to remain in village.

It shall be the policy of the Village of Oxford that all vehicles belonging to the Village of Oxford shall remain in the village unless authorization is given by the Mayor or appropriate Village Board committee chairman in specific instances.

§ 61-2 Mileage paid in emergency cases.

Mileage will be paid in case of emergencies when a private vehicle must be used.

§ 61-3 Designated parking.

Designated parking spaces will be provided for the vehicles when not in use.

§ 61-4 Declaration of policy.

Effective immediately no unauthorized persons are to be in any village vehicles.

§ 61-5 Exceptions.

Any exceptions to this policy must be authorized by the Village Board.
