The Meter Inspection Officer of the Incorporated Village of New Hyde
Park is hereby authorized and empowered to issue and serve appearance tickets
pursuant to Article 150 of the Criminal Procedure Law of the State of New
York in cases relating to the violation of any provision of any village law,
ordinance, rule or regulation or resolution of the Board of Trustees adopted
pursuant to the Vehicle and Traffic Law, which pertains to, restricts or otherwise
regulates in any manner the parking of any vehicle in or on the metered parking
spaces and the metered parking lots of the Village of New Hyde Park.[1]
