A.
It shall be unlawful for any person to own, operate or
otherwise maintain a riding stable or similar establishment within the Village
of New Hyde Park.
B.
It shall be unlawful for any person to own, operate or
otherwise maintain a bird or animal quarantine station or holding facility,
whether the same is licensed or not by the state or federal government, within
the Village of New Hyde Park.
C.
It shall be unlawful for any person to own, operate or
otherwise maintain any animal laboratory, diagnostic center or veterinary
facility, unless the same is licensed and strictly regulated by the New York
State Department of Health and the Nassau County Department of Public Health.

A violation of any of the provisions of this article is hereby declared to be unlawful and a petty offense. Each such offense is hereby designated a violation as defined in Article IIA of Chapter 1 of the Village Code, and every such violation shall be punishable in accordance with the provisions of Subsections B and F of § 1-27 of that article, except that, notwithstanding those provisions, a mandatory fine shall be imposed, as part of each sentence for each separate offense, in an amount of not less than $125 nor more than $250.
