Following the initial adoption of a fee schedule by resolution of the Town Board, the Town Board shall review the fee schedule at its organizational meeting each year. In the event the Board concludes that no changes are required in the fee schedule, the Board shall, by adoption of a resolution, authorize the continued use and distribution of the unchanged fee schedule. If the Board determines that changes should be made, it shall adopt a resolution describing any proposed revisions or amendments. The Board may also review the fee schedule at any other time it deems necessary and propose revisions or amendments to it. No proposed revisions or amendments shall be implemented unless the Board first holds a public hearing on them. The public hearing shall be held not less than five days from publication in the Glens Falls Post Star of notice of the time and place of such hearing. Following the public hearing, the Board may adopt a resolution implementing revisions or amendments to the fee schedule. Upon the adoption of such a resolution, the revised and/or amended fees or other changes in the fee schedule shall be effective immediately unless otherwise specified by the Board in its resolution. The fee schedule, incorporating the revisions, amendments and changes approved in the Board's resolution, shall be posted on the bulletin board maintained for that purpose in the Town Hall and in the offices of the Town Clerk, the Town Assessor and the Building Inspector at all times, and shall be made available by the Town Clerk for distribution at those offices to persons requesting the same.
