All properties located within New Hartford Sewer Improvement Area No. 1 or any heretofore or hereinafter created districts that are in the proximity of or adjacent to New Hartford Town sewers shall cause their facilities to be connected to said sewers as hereinafter provided.
A. 
All business or commercial users, as generally defined or as provided for in the Town of New Hartford Zoning Law of 1969, and any amendments thereto,[1] shall be so connected to the Town sewers on or before June 1, 1976, unless otherwise required to be so connected prior thereto.

B. 
All residential users, as generally defined or as provided for in the Town of New Hartford Zoning Law of 1969, and any amendments thereto, shall be so connected to the Town sewers on or before June 1, 1978, unless otherwise required to be so connected prior thereto.
All such connections shall conform, in any event, to the rules and regulations covering the same and as provided for in Local Law No. 2-1971, A Local Law Relating to the Rules and Regulations Covering Sanitary Sewer Connections and Specifications Relative Thereto.[1]

Any person committing an offense against any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be guilty of a violation pursuant to the Penal Law of the State of New York, punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. The continuation of an offense against the provisions of this article shall constitute, for each week the offense is continued, a separate and distinct offense hereunder.
