Village Law § 10-1010 is hereby amended, in its application
to the Village of Quogue, so as to change the date of the annual meeting
for the election of company officers from the first Tuesday in April
to the first Monday in December. Each of the companies whose members
constitute the Fire Department of the Village of Quogue shall hold
an annual meeting on the first Monday in December in each year. At
such meeting, the members of each company shall elect by ballot from
their own number company officers pursuant to Village Law § 10-1010.
Village Law § 10-1012 is hereby amended, in its application
to the Village of Quogue, so as to change the date of the nominations
for Chief and Assistant Chiefs from the Thursday following the first
Tuesday in April to the first Monday in December. On the first Monday
in December in each year, nominations for the Chief and Assistant
Chiefs of the Fire Department of the Village of Quogue shall be made
by a vote of the duly qualified members of the Department pursuant
to Village Law § 10-1012.
The members of the companies constituting the Fire Department
of the Village of Quogue shall hold an annual meeting on the first
Monday in December in each year, pursuant to Village Law § 10-1016.
Village Law § 10-1014 is hereby amended, in its application
to the Village of Quogue, so as to change the date of the Council
meeting for choosing certain officers from the third Tuesday in April
to the Wednesday following the first Monday in December. The Council
of the Fire Department of the Village of Quogue shall meet on the
Wednesday following the first Monday in December in each year and
choose from its own number a Secretary, a Treasurer and a Collector
pursuant to Village Law § 10-1014.
