The Land Use Administrator shall be appointed by the Township Committee and shall have a general knowledge of the working of Planning Boards, Zoning Boards of Adjustment and the enforcement of land use regulations.
The Land Use Administrator shall:
A. 
Receive all applications for development, determine whether such applications are complete as required by the Township ordinances and certify that:
(1) 
Such use is permitted;
(2) 
It exists as a nonconforming use; or
(3) 
It is permitted by terms of a variance.
B. 
Issue zoning permits and keep a record of all applications and permits.
C. 
Collect and record fees received.
D. 
Prepare and submit a monthly report to the Township Committee summarizing all zoning permits issued.
The term of office shall be one year, commencing on January 1 of the year of appointment and ending on December 31.
The salary for the position of Land Use Administrator shall be determined by the Township Committee and shall be paid in accordance with the provisions of the Salary Ordinance of the Township of Sandyston.[1]
