A.
The
Board of Fire Commissioners of the Village shall be and the same is
hereby constituted a Bureau of Fire Prevention with full power, within
the corporate limits of the Village, to aid and augment the Bureau
of Fire Prevention of the County of Nassau in the enforcement of the
Nassau County Fire Prevention Code, as may be now or hereafter amended.

B.
A
Chairperson of such Board of Fire Commissioners shall be appointed
by the Village Mayor, subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees.[1]

The Nassau County Fire Prevention Code shall be the controlling
standard for fire prevention in the Village.
