Village of North Hills, NY Chapter 151 Lighting, Outdoor

§ 151-1 Compliance required.

No person, firm or corporation, their agents, servants or employees shall install, operate or maintain on any premises in the Village any exterior light, lamp or other illumination except in compliance with § 151-2 hereof.

§ 151-2 Arrangement and operation of lights.

All exterior lights, lamps and other illumination shall be so arranged, adjusted and operated with reflectors, refractors and screening that:

A. The upper beam or ray shall not project beyond the property line of the premises of the owner or occupant.

B. No light shall be directed upon any surface which shall reflect the beam or ray thereof beyond the property line of the premises of the owner or occupant.
