GENERAL REFERENCES
Village property — See Ch. 83.
A. 
No person not a resident of the Village shall enter or use the park, except if such person is an authorized guest of a resident of the Village or if such person has the express written permission of the Village.
B. 
Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or an adult capable of providing adequate supervision and who is an authorized custodian.
C. 
No person shall engage in any of the following conduct within the boundaries of the park:
(1) 
Refusing to produce a valid identification card upon a lawful request by a police officer, peace officer or any person authorized by the Board to make such request.
(2) 
Bicycling, rollerblading, rollerskating or skateboarding.
(3) 
Riding or operating a motorcycle, motorbike or moped.
(4) 
Bringing any dog or other animal or causing or permitting a dog or other animal to enter or remain within the boundaries of the park.
(5) 
Consuming any alcoholic beverage in the park or possessing any open container containing an alcoholic beverage with intent to consume the same.
(6) 
Using the swings, if such person is over 10 years of age.
(7) 
Entering or remaining in the park prior to 9:00 a.m. or after sunset on any day or at any other time when the park is closed and signs advising of such closure are prominently displayed.
(8) 
Performing or engaging in any unlawful act, including, without limitation, making or causing unreasonably loud or raucous noise, disturbing the peace or committing any nuisance.
(9) 
Mutilating, defacing or otherwise damaging or removing any park or Village property.
(10) 
Cutting, pulling or removing any plant, flowers, shrubbery or trees from the park grounds or in any way damaging any plant, flower, shrubbery or tree.
(11) 
Throwing or depositing any wastepaper, newspaper, boxes or rubbish or any kind upon park grounds except in receptacles provided for such purpose.
(12) 
Posting or distributing any card, pamphlet or circular within the park premises without the prior written consent of the Board of Trustees.
(13) 
Hawking or peddling in the park or in or at any entrance to the park.
(14) 
Parking, standing or stopping a motor vehicle at any place not designated for such purpose.
(15) 
Operating a motor vehicle in excess of 10 miles per hour.
(16) 
Holding any meeting or demonstration, without the prior written consent of the Board of Trustees.
(17) 
Possessing any glass container for beverages or any other liquid or for any solid or other material.
D. 
Any person who violates any rule or regulation provided herein shall be subject to punishment as provided in the Village Code for violations of that Code. In addition, any person found or observed to be in violation of any rule or regulation provided herein may be excluded from use of the park or its facilities.
