Editor's Note: This local law was subject to mandatory referendum and was approved by a majority of electors at the November 6, 1979, election. In addition, this local law was redesignated an ordinance on 2-6-1980.
This chapter is enacted pursuant to the authority of Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and shall be known as the "Games of Chance Law of the Town of Orchard Park."
The words and terms used in this chapter shall have the same meaning as such words and terms used in Article 9-A, § 186, of the General Municipal Law.
Those games defined in Subdivision 3 of § 186 of the General Municipal Law shall be permitted in the Town of Orchard Park.
This chapter shall be administered pursuant to the provisions of Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law, including those provisions relating to:

Restrictions upon conduct of games of chance (see General Municipal Law § 189).
B. 
Authorized suppliers of games of chance equipment (see General Municipal Law § 189-a).
C. 
Applications for license (see General Municipal Law § 190).
D. 
Investigations as to application (see General Municipal Law § 191).
E. 
Hearings (see General Municipal Law § 192).
F. 
Forms and contents of license (see General Municipal Law § 193).
G. 
Control and supervision of license (see General Municipal Law § 194).
H. 
Days on which games may be conducted (see General Municipal Law § 195).

Participation by persons under 18 years of age (see General Municipal Law § 195-a).
