No department, employee, officer, commission, committee or agent of
the town shall enter a contract on behalf of the town wherein any liability
is undertaken by or extended on behalf of the town, or wherein the town must
furnish a certificate of insurance or name any other party as an additional
insured on its insurance policy, unless such contract or agreement is first
approved by the Town Board of the Town of Philipstown.
