As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
BUILDING
Any structure used or intended to be used as a dwelling or place of business or industry, but shall not include any accessory building located upon a lot where there is also a main building.
The number to be assigned to each existing building in the Village of Blandon and in the area surrounding the Village of Blandon shall be in accordance with the plan dated October 5, 1967, entitled Maidencreek Township Blandon Building Numbers, being Drawing No. D-2521-15 prepared by Mast Engineering Company, Inc., said plan being attached hereto and made a part hereof.[1]

Whenever a building shall hereafter be erected in the Village of Blandon or within the area surrounding the Village of Blandon, as shown on said plan, the owner thereof shall forthwith apply to the Board of Supervisors of Maidencreek Township, who shall then have the Township Engineer assign an official number therefor.
No number shall be affixed to any existing building by the owner or occupant thereof other than that designated in the aforementioned plan.
No number shall be affixed to any building hereafter erected in the area encompassed by said plan other than that assigned by the Township Engineer.
Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall be subject to the general penalty provisions as prescribed in Article I of Chapter 1, General Provisions.
