A.
There shall also be a Department of Assessment, the
head which shall be the Town Assessor, who shall be appointed by the
Town Council and serve at its pleasure.
B.
The Town Assessor shall be responsible for the performance
of all work pertaining to the assessing of property and the preparation
of all assessment and tax rolls and tax notices as required by general
law and shall also be responsible for the performance of all duties
required of him/her by the Town Charter.
