A. 
There shall be a Construction Official appointed by the Township Council for a term of four years and until his/her successor is duly appointed and qualified, who shall have such powers and perform such duties as more fully set forth in Chapter 62, Dangerous and Unfit Buildings; Chapter 64, Numbering of Buildings; Chapter 67, Certificates of Occupancy; Chapter 70, Uniform Construction Code; Chapter 111, Housing Standards; and Chapter 150, Property Maintenance, of this Code.

B. 
In addition to a Construction Official, there shall also be Construction Subcode Officials for Building, Electric, Plumbing, and Fire. Each official shall be appointed by the Township Council for a term of one year until his/her successor is duly appointed and qualified and shall have such powers and perform such duties as more fully set forth in Chapter 70, Uniform Construction Code; Chapter 111, Housing Standard; and Chapter 150, Property Maintenance, of this Code.

A Zoning Officer shall be appointed by the Township Council for a term of one year and until a successor is appointed and duly qualified. The Zoning Officer shall be charged with the administration and enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance[1] and shall have all the powers, functions and duties prescribed by general law and the ordinances of the Township.
