The terms "highway," "park or parking," "Superintendent" and "vehicle" as used in this article shall have the same meanings as they are defined in § 51-2 of the Code of the Town of Monroe.

The Superintendent is hereby authorized to remove
and store any vehicle parked in violation of this article. The Superintendent
shall not release any such vehicle so removed until the cost to the
Town, as certified by the Superintendent, of removal, including towing
and storage, shall have been paid to the Town Clerk.
A violation of this article shall constitute
a traffic infraction, and any person violating this article shall
be liable to a fine of not more than $250 or to imprisonment for not
more than 15 days, or both, for each such violation.
