The Common Council of the City of Peekskill hereby agrees to confer
the benefits of § 18 of the Public Officers Law in their entirety
to so provide for the defense and indemnification of the City's former and
present officers and employees acting within the scope of their employment
or duties.
The Common Council of the City of Peekskill hereby agrees to be held
liable for the costs incurred in such defense and indemnification.
The agreements contained herein shall be conditioned on affected officers'
and employees' compliance with the notice, delivery and full cooperation provisions
contained in Subsection 5 of said § 18 of the Public Officers Law.
