Effective June 1, 2009, the police force of
Cheltenham Township shall consist of one Chief of Police, one Deputy
Chief of Police, four Lieutenants of Police, 15 Sergeants, composed
of both uniformed and detective Sergeants, four Corporals and 63 patrol
officers.

Nothing in this Article or in the Code of the
Township of Cheltenham, as hereby amended, shall be construed to affect
any suit or proceeding pending in any court, or any rights acquired
or liability incurred, or any permit issued, or any cause or causes
of action existing under said Code prior to this amendment.
