The Finance Officer's Group is comprised of the Town Treasurer, Town Accountant, Assessor's Office Manager, Computer Systems Administrator, School Business Manager, Chief of Police, Fire Chief, Manager of the Light Department and Superintendent of the Water Department.
The Finance Officer's Group will meet each month and will be chaired by the town's Finance Director.
The purpose of the Finance Officer's Group is advisory, is intended to provide a formal channel of communication and a vehicle for coordinating financial management.
The Group will:
A. 
Collect information used in policy development by boards and committees.
B. 
Provide input into cash flow analysis, including major purchases and new debt issuance.
C. 
Assist in analyzing the impacts of future events on the town's financial condition.
D. 
Provide input to the preparation of the town's tax rate recapitulation sheet.
