Any employee of the Department of Public Works not in a hazardous employment and hence not covered by the Workmen's Compensation Law of the State of New York is hereby declared to be brought within the coverage of the Workmen's Compensation Law pursuant to the authority granted by § 3 of said Law.
This article shall take effect immediately.
