The Commissioner of Recreation may establish and sponsor athletic
tournaments, day-camp programs and similar events for the benefit
of the City of Mount Vernon.
A.Â
City-sponsored events shall be held at the various recreational facilities
located within the City of Mount Vernon at the discretion of the Commissioner
of Recreation.
B.Â
Fees to be paid by the public for participation in City-sponsored
events shall be determined at the discretion of the Commissioner of
Recreation. Such fees shall be based on the nature of the program,
the cost to the City to sponsor the programs, the recreational facility
used and other relevant criteria to be considered by the Commissioner
of Recreation in determining such fees.
