A.
Pursuant to § 3, subdivision 2, of the Public
Officers Law of the State of New York, a police officer need not reside in
said Village but may reside anywhere in the County of Dutchess, State of New
York, or in any County contiguous to the County of Dutchess, State of New
York.
B.
All other appointed officers need not reside in said
Village but may reside anywhere in the County of Dutchess, State of New York.

"Whereas, the Mayor, Trustees and appointed members of any board or commission
of the Village of Rhinebeck, County of Dutchess and State of New York, must,
according to the provisions of § 3-300 of the Village Law of the
State of New York, be residents of said Village, the following provisions
shall apply to all other appointed officers."
