[Adopted 1-8-1985 by L.L. No. 1-1985]
The veterans exemptions provided for in § 458-a of the Real Property Tax Law shall hereafter be applicable to real property situate in the Village of Rhinebeck, Dutchess County, New York, and all of the rights granted under § 458-a shall be available to those qualified veterans, as defined therein, upon their compliance with all requirements of law and procedure as though Local Law No. 5-1984 had not been enacted.[1]

In determining the amount of any exemption granted, the maximum amounts shall be multiplied by the last equalization rate, limited nonetheless to no more than 100%.

The maximum amounts of exemption shall be established by resolution of the Village Board.
