No person shall park any vehicle in a parking space on public or private property that is designated by this chapter as a handicapped parking space and is appropriately marked for vehicles for the physically handicapped pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:4-197.5 and N.J.S.A. 52:27D-119 et seq., or any other applicable law, unless the vehicle is authorized by law to be parked therein and a handicapped person is either the driver or a passenger in that vehicle.
The following parking spaces are hereby designated as approved handicapped spaces:

In addition to the above, any parking space that is hereafter approved as a handicapped parking space as part of a site plan or subdivision approval by the Cranbury Township Planning Board or the Cranbury Township Zoning Board of Adjustment shall be deemed to be designated as an improved handicapped parking space for the purposes of this chapter.
Any person parking a motor vehicle in a restricted handicapped parking space in violation of this chapter shall be subject to a fine of $100 for the first offense and, for subsequent offenses, a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $250 and up to 90 days of community service on such terms and in such forms as the Municipal Court shall deem appropriate or any combinations thereof.
