No animal, such as cows, horses, sheep, goats or pigs, shall be permitted to run at large off the premises of the owner within the Township of Cranbury.
A. 
It shall be unlawful to keep or permit to be kept:
(1) 
A pig within 100 feet of a public road or the dwelling of another person.
(2) 
More than five pigs within 500 feet of a public road or the dwelling of another person.
B. 
Proof of ownership of property on which a pig has been found shall be prima facie evidence that the pig was being kept with the property owner's consent.

A. 
Definitions. As used in this section, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
OWNER/KEEPER
Any person who possesses, maintains, houses or harbors any pet or otherwise has custody of any pet, whether or not the owner of such pet.
PERSON
Any individual, corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, or political subdivision of this state subject to municipal jurisdiction.
PET
Any domesticated animal kept for amusement or companionship.
PROPER DISPOSAL
Placement of the solid waste in a designated waste receptacle or other suitable container, and discarded in a refuse container that is regularly emptied by the municipality or a refuse collector, or disposal into a system designed to convey domestic sewage for proper treatment and disposal.
B. 
Solid waste removal and disposal required. All pet owners and keepers shall immediately remove and properly dispose of the solid waste deposited by the pet on public property or the property of another, as the term "proper disposal" is defined herein above.
C. 
Exemptions. Nothing herein shall be deemed to apply to any owner or keeper requiring the use of a disability assistance animal while said animal is being used for such purpose.
D. 
Violations and penalties. Any owner or keeper who violates the provisions hereof shall be subject to the penalties prescribed in § 162-16 of this Code.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine not exceeding $500 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the Judge.
