No perishable merchandise shall be placed or
displayed for sale outside of any building or on any portion of any
public streets in the Borough.
No business establishment shall retain on or
about the outside of its premises, longer than 12 hours, any baskets,
boxes, cartons, barrels, bags or containers or any refuse, garbage,
trash or waste materials.
No refuse shall be swept off sidewalks into gutters. All business places shall sweep the sidewalks before their establishments at least once every business day, depositing such sweepings in a proper receptacle in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 55 of this Code, entitled “Solid Waste.”
