Individual sewage disposal systems — See Ch. 232.
There is hereby established a department to be known as the "Sewer Department of the Borough of Mendham, in the County of Morris and State of New Jersey."

There shall be a Superintendent in charge of said Department who shall be appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Council for a one-year term.

It shall be the duty of the Superintendent of the Sewer Department to be responsible for all matters relating to the construction, management, maintenance and operation of the sewerage system of the Borough. He or she shall be under the direct supervision of the Borough Administrator.
Other employees of the Sewer Department are the:
Licensed Sewage Treatment Plant Operator and licensed Sewer Superintendent. These two licensed positions may be held by one person.
