There is hereby created the "Middle Township Council on the Arts."
The Council shall have charge of fostering the growth of the arts in
Middle Township to such means and designs as the Council may deem appropriate
under the guidance of the Township Committee.
The Council shall consist of nine members. The initial membership shall
consist of three members holding three-year terms, three members holding two-year
terms, and three members holding a one-year term. Thereafter, all members
shall serve for three years. Members of the Council shall serve without pay.
The Council may expend such funds as are provided through the municipal
budget by the Township Committee.
The Council shall elect a Chairman and may appoint a Secretary.
