Township of Middle, NJ Chapter 10 Cable Television Advisory Board

§ 10-1 Creation.

There is hereby established a Cable Television Advisory Board within the Township of Middle.

§ 10-2 Membership; compensation.

Said Board shall consist of seven members and two alternates to be appointed by the Township Committee. The members of the Cable Television Advisory Board shall serve without compensation.

§ 10-3 Terms of members.

A. The initial appointees to the Board shall serve terms with expiration dates as follows:

	4 regular members	December 31, 1993
	3 regular members	December 31, 1992
	Alternate No. 1	December 31, 1993
	Alternate No. 2	December 31, 1992

B. Thereafter, all subsequent appointees shall serve two-year terms commencing on January 1.

§ 10-4 Purpose.

The purpose of the Cable Television Advisory Board is to establish guidelines and make recommendations concerning the cable television franchise application/renewal process, while reviewing and monitoring any franchise awarded.

§ 10-5 Secretary; legal assistance.

The Cable Television Advisory Board shall utilize such secretary as may be appointed by the Township Committee and shall utilize the services of the Township Solicitor for all legal matters.
