[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Committee of the Township of Middle 3-5-2007 by Ord. No. 1252-07. Amendments noted where applicable.]
There is hereby established in the Township of Middle a Postal Advisory Committee.
The purpose of the Postal Advisory Committee shall be to advise the Township Committee on all matters regarding post office service and real estate issues in the Township of Middle. The Postal Advisory Committee shall have no policy-making powers, nor shall it have the power to hire employees or otherwise expend moneys.
A. 
The Postal Advisory Committee shall consist of five members. The five members shall be appointed to initial terms as follows:
(1) 
Members one and two: three-year terms.
(2) 
Members three and four: two-year terms.
(3) 
Member five: one-year term.
B. 
Thereafter, each of the members shall serve a term of three years.
The members of the Postal Advisory Committee shall be appointed by Township Committee. They shall serve without compensation.
The Postal Advisory Committee shall adopt rules and regulations with regard to time, place, frequency and conduct of meetings.
