A. 
Applications for licenses for the retail sale of alcoholic beverages in the Township of Middle aforesaid shall be in the form prescribed by law and be approved by the Director of the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control and shall be addressed to the Township Committee of the Township of Middle. Every application for such license, complete in every detail, except proof of publication of notice of application to apply therefor, which proof shall be supplied at or before the time the application is to be heard, shall be deposited at the office of said Township Clerk at or before the first insertion of the notice of application. Applications so deposited may be examined on request without any reason being assigned therefor.
B. 
Notices of application to apply to the Township of Middle aforesaid for a license for the retail sale of alcoholic beverages in said Township shall be in the form prescribed by law and approved by the Director of the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control and shall state the time and place when and where such application shall be made to and heard by the Township Committee of said Township.

Applications for licenses under the provisions of this article shall be filed and shall be considered by the Township Committee as provided by law.

There shall not be issued and outstanding in this Township at any time alcoholic beverage licenses in excess of the following number:
A. 
Six plenary retail consumption licenses.

B. 
Two plenary retail distribution licenses.
C. 
Four club licenses.

A. 
The annual fee for plenary retail consumption licenses and plenary retail distribution licenses in the Township of Middle shall be $720.

B. 
The annual fee for club licenses in the Township of Middle shall be $188.

C. 
All license fees shall be paid in full to the Township Clerk upon the filing of an application, in cash or certified check made payable to the Township of Middle, and all such receipts shall be turned over to the Township Treasurer by the Township Clerk when and as received.

A. 
The hours during which alcoholic beverages may be sold or offered for sale on licensed premises by the holders of plenary retail consumption licenses or club licenses shall be between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. the following day.

B. 
The hours during which alcoholic beverages may be sold or offered for sale on licensed premises by the holders of plenary retail distribution licenses shall be between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. the following day.

C. 
All times mentioned herein shall be prevailing local time.
D. 
The hours during which alcoholic beverages may be sold or offered for sale in original containers for off-premises consumption by the holders of plenary retail distribution licenses shall be the same hours as those for the holders of plenary retail consumption licenses.

Any license may be suspended or revoked for violation of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act[1] or of the rules and regulations promulgated by the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control or for violation of Township ordinances regulating or pertaining to the sale of alcoholic beverages.
