For the purpose of this article, the following terms shall have the following meanings:
AT LARGE
Pertains to any dog, cat or other domestic animal when it is off the property of its owner and not restrained by a competent person.
DOMESTIC ANIMAL
Any dog, cat, or other animal adapted to life in intimate association with and for the pleasure of man.
OWNER
Any person or group of persons owning, keeping or harboring a dog or dogs, cat or cats, or other domestic animals.
PERSON
Any natural person, corporation, partnership or association.
RESTRAINT
Control of a dog, cat, or other domestic animal by a leash or chain.

It shall be unlawful for the owner of any dog, cat or other domestic animal to bring any dog, cat or other domestic animal into the following park areas, or allow such animal to run at large therein: Koenig Field and Tot Lot, Dickson Park in the Playground Area, the Tennis Court, the Free Play Field from the far side of the tennis wall to the fence at the Basketball Court, and the Basketball Court and Memorial Park.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding before a District Justice, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and costs of prosecution, and in default of the payment thereof, to imprisonment not exceeding 30 days.
