[Adopted 7-13-1981 by Ord. No. 1981-2 as Ch. I, Part 2B, of the 1981 Code]
The Council of Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, hereby signifies its desire and intention to organize an Industrial Development Authority in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, under the Industrial Development Authority Law.[1]

In pursuance of said desire and intention and in conformity with the terms and provisions of said Industrial Development Authority Law, the Articles of Incorporation of this said Authority are hereby approved and adopted by said Council, on behalf of said Latrobe, in the following form:
Articles of Incorporation
To: The Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania:
In compliance with the requirements of the Industrial Development Authority Law, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, pursuant to a duly enacted ordinance authorizing the formation of an Industrial Development Authority and desiring that an Industrial Development Authority be established and that a certificate of incorporation be issued to said Authority, does hereby certify:
(a)
The name of the Industrial Development Authority shall be "Latrobe Industrial Development Authority."

(b)
This Industrial Development Authority is formed under the provisions of the Industrial Development Authority Law, Act of August 23, 1967, P.L. 251, No. 102.
(c)
The name of the incorporating municipality is "Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania," and the names and addresses of the Mayor and members of Council of said incorporating municipality are as follows: . . .
(d)
The names, addresses and terms of office of the first members of the Board of the Industrial Development Authority to be formed hereby are as follows: . . .
The terms of office of the respective members of the Board herein appointed shall commence on the date of their appointment and shall continue for the respective terms of years herein designated from the January 1 next succeeding the date of their appointment. All of the abovementioned members of the Board of such Authority reside in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, wherein Latrobe is located.
(e)
The term of existence of the Authority shall be 50 years from the date the Articles of Amendment which accompany this article are filed with the appropriate governmental entity of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania pursuant 73 P.S. § 375.[1]
