Editor's Note: The preamble of this resolution read as follows:
"WHEREAS, it has been implied in the media and in public forums that there is not in effect a housing code governing housing units in the Town, and
"WHEREAS, the County of Suffolk two years ago adopted the provisions of the State Sanitary Code known as the State Housing Code, and same is in full force and effect as to this Town and may only be enforced by the County health officials, and
"WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Town Board to reaffirm, endorse and support the existence of the Suffolk County Housing Code and its enforcement in the Town of Babylon
"NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED that . . ."
The County Housing Code and its enforcement in the Town of Babylon is hereby reaffirmed, endorsed and supported.
