[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Penn Yan at time of adoption of Code; see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I. Amendments noted where applicable.]
No coin-controlled game, amusement, jukebox or musical machine in any place of business in the Village of Penn Yan may be maintained unless a permit has been issued to the operator of the premises for each such machine for an annual fee of $10 per machine. The Board of Trustees shall have the right to review the refusal of a license. Said permits shall not be transferable and shall be revocable if the Village Board sees fit to do so for cause after proper notice to the operator and the opportunity to be heard.
Permits shall be valid from June 1 to May 31, and any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine of a minimum of $25 up to the maximum penalty of $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both.
