The Borough Council of the Borough of South Waverly does hereby adopt and incorporate as fully as if set out at length herein that certain Electrical Code known as the "National Electrical Code, 1990," as amended, recommended by the National Board of Fire Underwriters. Three (3) copies of said Electrical Code are on file in the borough offices.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate a provision of this chapter or the Electrical Code, or who shall fail to comply with any of the requirements thereof or shall install electrical work in violation of an approved plan or directive of the code official, or of a permit or certificate issued under the provisions of this chapter or said code, shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.) and costs of prosecution and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than thirty (30) days. Each day that a violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
