[Adopted by Ord. No. 3-1980 (Sec. 2-3.2 of the 1985 Revised General Ordinances)]
N.J.S.A. 40A:9-146 et seq. requires the appointment
of a Municipal Tax Assessor, and the term of the Tax Assessor shall
be four years pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-148.
A position of Township Tax Assessor is created
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-146 et seq.
The Township Committee shall appoint a suitable
person to hold the office.
