A. 
Any person who is convicted for a violation of any provision of this Code or any other ordinance of the Borough for which no penalty is specified shall be subject to one or more of the following: a fine of not more than $2,000, imprisonment for any term not exceeding 90 days, and/or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days, unless a different penalty is stated in the Code chapter hereof or the ordinance.
B. 
Any person who is convicted for a violation of any housing or zoning provision of this Code who shall be the subject of a fine in an amount that is greater than $1,250 shall be afforded the opportunity to cure or abate the condition within 30 days and shall be afforded an opportunity for a hearing before the court for an independent determination concerning the violation. After the thirty-day period, the court may impose a fine greater than $1,250 if the court determines that the cure or abatement of the violation has not been substantially completed.
A separate offense or violation shall be deemed to be committed on each day that a violation occurs or continues.
