Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40:67-23.1 et seq., which permit municipalities to repave, maintain, provide for the removal of snow, ice and other obstructions from and provide for the lighting of any roads or streets upon which travel is sufficient, in the opinion of the Township Council, to warrant such expenditures, even though such roads and streets shall not have been taken over by the Council or dedicated and accepted as public highways, the following places within the Township shall have the services described herein extended to them:
A. 
All streets and roadways within Cheesequake Village shall have electric service paid for streetlighting and ice, snow and obstructions removed as follows: all of Haven Road; Galewood Drive from Haven Road to Valery Road, and Valery Road.

The Township of Old Bridge shall reimburse all qualified private communities, as defined in N.J.S.A. 40:67-23.2e, for ice and snow removal, lighting of roads and streets but only the extent of payment for electricity, and collection of leaves, recyclable materials and garbage along roads and streets, unless such services are provided by the Township or otherwise provided for privately for all other residential properties in the Township.

The Township is hereby authorized to enter into a qualified private community service agreement with each qualified private community, the terms and conditions of which shall be determined by the Mayor and submitted to the Township Council for approval pursuant to provisions of N.J.S.A. 40:69A-36(l).

Reimbursement to each qualified private community shall commence with fiscal year 1996. Reimbursement for prior years has been in accordance with Ordinance Nos. 37-88 and 51-88.[1] All actions taken by the Township in providing services, or reimbursing such communities for such qualified services, prior to the effective date of this section are hereby ratified and approved.
