The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule I (§ 147-37) are hereby designated as one-way streets, and vehicles shall proceed only in the direction indicated.
No person shall make a turn of the kind designated (left, right, all) at any of the locations described in Schedule II (§ 147-38).
The turning of vehicles so as to proceed in the opposite direction, otherwise known as a "U-turn," is hereby prohibited on any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule III (§ 147-39).
In accordance with the provisions of § 1111(d)(2) of the Vehicle and Traffic Law, no person shall make a right turn on a steady red signal at the locations designated in Schedule IV (§ 147-40).

Except when directed to proceed by a police officer, every driver of a motor vehicle approaching a stop sign shall stop at a clearly marked stop line, but if none, then shall stop before entering the crosswalk on the near side of the intersection or, in the event there is no crosswalk, at the point nearest the intersecting roadway where the driver has a view of the approaching traffic on the intersecting roadway before entering the intersection, and the right to proceed shall be subject to the provisions of § 1142 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York. The intersections described in Schedule V (§ 147-41) are hereby designated as stop intersections, and stop signs shall be erected as indicated.
The intersections described in Schedule VI (§ 147-42) are hereby designated as yield intersections, and yield signs shall be erected as indicated.

The maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed on or along any streets or highways within the Village is hereby established at 25 miles per hour.
A. 
No person shall operate any motor vehicle in excess of 15 miles per hour within a school speed zone during the school noon hour, school recess or while children are going to and from school during school hours when such limit and zone are properly sign-posted as directed by the Village Board.
B. 
Said school speed zones shall include that portion of the highway which is sign-posted to designate said zone as such and that portion of the highway adjacent to a school building and extending not more than 300 feet along such highway in either direction from the building line of a school abutting on such highway.
A. 
All trucks and/or commercial vehicles, tractors and tractor-trailer combinations in excess of five tons are hereby excluded from the streets and highways, or parts thereof, described in Schedule VIII (§ 147-44).
B. 
The regulations established in this section shall not be construed to prevent the delivery or pickup of merchandise or other property along the streets or highways from which such vehicles and combinations are otherwise excluded.
C. 
Motor vehicles having a gross weight of 50,000 pounds shall not be operated on any street in the Village that is located in or abuts an area zoned for residential use.
The police are hereby authorized to barricade any of the streets named in Schedule IX (§ 147-45) to through traffic during shift changes or meal hours at any industrial area in order to properly control the flow of traffic on Manhasset Isle.
