A fee between $1 and $2 for residents and between $2 and $4 for nonresidents is hereby established for parking in the parking spaces established at the Old Bridge Park and Ride Lot in the area of Route Nine and Ernston Road shown as Old Bridge Westminster Lot, 380 spaces, and Old Bridge Park and Ride Lot in the area of Route 9 North and Inverness Drive shown as Inverness lot, 252 spaces on a plan entitled "Old Bridge Park and Ride Site Plan, Parking Operation Layout." Any person parking a vehicle in said lots shall park between the lines and shall pay the designated fee at a kiosk or through the mobile app. Payment of said fee shall constitute a license to park in the parking space for a maximum of 24 hours. Thereafter, a new parking fee between $1 and $2 for residents and between $2 and $4 for nonresidents shall be paid.
A. 
The parking lot known as the "Home Depot Lot" consists of 145 spaces. To use the Home Depot Lot the vehicle must have a valid Old Bridge annual permit. The Home Depot Lot does not require a daily fee to be paid pursuant to § 325-1 above. This applies to residents and nonresidents with a valid Old Bridge annual permit.
B. 
Transaction fee. A fee shall be charged when utilizing a mobile application for daily parking fees payment in the amount between $0.15 and $1 which shall be determined by the amount charged by the mobile application provider.
A. 
It shall be unlawful for a motor vehicle to be parked in the Old Bridge Park and Ride Facility at Route Nine and Ernston Road or the Inverness Park and Ride Lot without payment of the established fee.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for a motor vehicle to remain parked in the Old Bridge Park and Ride Facility at Route Nine and Ernston Road or the Inverness Park and Ride Lot beyond 24 hours without payment of an additional fee.
C. 
It shall be unlawful for a motor vehicle to be parked in any the Old Bridge Park and Ride Facility outside the established parking spaces between the designated lines.
Any owner or operator of a vehicle who violates or permits the violation of this article and is found guilty in the Municipal Court of the Township of Old Bridge shall pay a fine between $50 and $75 plus court costs. Each violation shall be considered a separate offense upon each and every day in which a violation exists.
