The following repair and replacement responsibilities
shall be imposed upon the owners of land abutting sidewalks and curbs:
A.Â
Owners of property used for residential or commercial
use which abut sidewalks which are broken or dislodged so as to present
a danger to pedestrian traffic shall repair or replace such sidewalks
and render such sidewalks safe.
B.Â
Owners of property used for commercial purposes shall
repair or replace broken curbing along any street adjacent to their
property.
C.Â
The municipality shall repair or replace broken curbing
along any street adjacent to a property used for residential purposes.
