[Adopted by Ord. No. 1998-13 (Sec. 5-13 of the 1974 Code); amended in its entirety 4-26-2004 by Ord. No. 2004-7]
The Borough has determined that the Volunteer Fire Department and the Volunteer First Aid Squad are in need of donations in order to help maintain the departments and to provide for the general health, safety and welfare of the residents and guests of the Borough of Bradley Beach.
The Borough finds that many summer residents are grateful for the services provided by the Fire Department and the First Aid Squad and are generous in their support of the Fire Department and the First Aid Squad. The Borough further finds that it is in the best interests of the Borough and the Fire Department and the First Aid Squad to establish a regular schedule upon which the annual coin toss fund-raiser will be held.
A.
The Borough has established that the annual coin toss for the benefit of the Borough Fire Department will be held at the intersection of Main Street and Brinley Avenue the Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Labor Day Weekend.
B.
The Borough has established that the annual coin toss for the benefit of the Borough First Aid Squad will be held at the intersection of Main Street and Brinley Avenue the first Saturday, Sunday and Monday of July.
