A. 
No person shall serve, sell, dispense, drink or consume any alcoholic beverage, or carry or have in his or her possession, any opened alcoholic beverage container or any opened container containing an alcoholic beverage on any public street, highway, avenue, alley or road of the Borough, or upon any public grounds, parks, sidewalks, beaches, beachfronts, or boardwalks within the Borough or in any automobile or any other vehicle or in any other means of transportation on the public streets, highways, alleys, avenues, grounds, sidewalks, beaches, parks, beachfronts or boardwalks within the Borough, except as may be permitted by §§ 123-8F and 339-1A(9).[1]

B. 
Violations and penalties. The penalty for violation of this article shall be as provided in Chapter 1, Article II, General Penalty, of this Borough Code.
