In order to facilitate the planning of the Borough of Closter and to fix the location and widths of streets and drainage rights-of-way and the location and extent of public parks and playgrounds and to conserve and promote the public health, safety, morals and general welfare, it is hereby declared necessary to adopt an Official Map of the Borough of Closter.
A. 
In accordance with the provisions of the Official Map and Building Permit Act, 1953 (N.J.S.A. 40:55D-32 et seq., as amended and supplemented), there is hereby adopted as the Official Map of the Borough of Closter, in the County of Bergen and State of New Jersey, a certain map entitled "Official Map, Borough of Closter, Bergen County, New Jersey," dated August 11, 1966, and prepared by A. C. Hobelman, Borough Engineer.[1]

B. 
A copy of said Official Map shall be filed in the office of the Borough Clerk of the Borough of Closter and shall be available for public inspection.
