[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Evans 11-16-1966. Amendments noted where applicable.]
Within 10 days after January 1, 1967, the Town Clerk shall file a certificate in the Office of the Secretary of State to the effect that the Town of Evans became a Suburban Town, effective January 1, 1967.[1]

"Whereas, on a Resolution of the Town Board submitted to referendum on its motion to the electors of the Town of Evans at the General Election held on November 8, 1966, the proposition:
"Shall the Town of Evans become a Suburban Town under Article 3-A of the Town Law on January 1, 1967? and
"Whereas, the electors of the Town of Evans approved the proposition
"Therefore, be it resolved that:"
