Said Council signifies its desire and intention, and it does hereby so signify, to organize an Authority under the provisions of the "Municipal Authorities Act of 1945," being an Act of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended or supplemented.[1]

The Articles of Incorporation for said authority shall be in substantially the following form:
ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION
TO THE SECRETARY OF THE COMMONWEALTH,
COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA:
In compliance with the requirements of the "Municipality Authorities Act of 1945," being an Act of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended or supplemental, the municipal authorities of the Borough of Kane, situate in the County of McKean and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, desiring to incorporate an Authority thereunder, do hereby certify:
(a)
The name of the Authority is the Borough of Kane Authority.
(b)
Said Authority is formed under the provisions of the "Municipality Authorities Act of 1945," being an Act of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended or supplemented.
(c)
No other Authority has been organized under the aforesaid "Municipality Authorities Act of 1945," or under the Act approved the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred thirty-five (Pamphlet Laws 463), and no other Authority is in existence in or for the Borough of Kane, being the incorporating municipality herein.
(d)
The name of the incorporating municipality is Borough of Kane, and the names and addresses of its municipal authorities are as follows:Editor's Note: Here followed the names and addresses of the municipal authorities.
(e)

(f)
Said Authority is organized for all of the purposes set forth in the "Municipality Authorities Act of 1945," as amended or supplemented, and shall have all of the powers granted by said Act.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned, being authorized so to do, have executed these Articles of Incorporation on behalf of the Borough of Kane, the above named incorporating municipality, and have caused the seal of the Borough of Kane to be affixed hereto, duly attested, on this day of 1963.

Before me, a Notary Public in and for the Commonwealth and County aforesaid, personally appeared GEORGE B. DAVISON, president of the Council of the Borough of Kane, and WILLIAM W. PERRY, secretary of the Borough of Kane, who, being duly sworn according to law, depose and say that they both reside within the Borough of Kane, situate in the County of McKean and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, at the respective addresses shown in the foregoing Articles of Incorporation; that they subscribed their names to the foregoing Articles of Incorporation in their proper and respective handwritings; that the seal affixed to the foregoing Articles of Incorporation and attested by the said Secretary of the Borough of Kane; that execution of the foregoing Articles of Incorporation by them has been done on behalf of the said Borough of Kane pursuant to the authority and direction of Ordinance A-707 [this Part 3A] passed by the Council of the said Borough of Kane on the 9th day of September, 1963, and they did further acknowledge the foregoing Articles of Incorporation to be their act and deed for the purpose therein specified.

The President or the Vice President of Council and the Borough Secretary are authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the Borough of Kane, said Articles of Incorporation for said Authority, and the Borough Secretary is further authorized and directed to impress on said Articles of Incorporation the Seal of the Borough of Kane and attest the same.
The municipal authorities of the Borough of Kane are hereby directed to cause a notice of this article to be published once in the Kane Republican, a newspaper of general circulation published within the Borough of Kane and County of McKean, as required by the aforesaid Municipality Authorities Act of 1945, as amended or supplemented, and to file with the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania the aforesaid Articles of Incorporation together with proof of publication of the notice as aforesaid, as required by said Municipality Authorities Act of 1945, as amended or supplemented.
The Municipal Authorities of the Borough of Kane, the Solicitor of the Borough of Kane and all other officers or employees of the Borough of Kane are hereby authorized and directed to do, perform, execute, acknowledge, attest, seal and deliver all official acts, deeds, things, matters, papers, writings or instruments as well as to pay all fees or costs necessary, required or appropriate to effect the incorporation of said Borough of Kane Authority that may be required by the aforesaid Municipality Authorities Act of 1945, as amended or supplemented, or by any other law or laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Said Authority shall be for all of the purposes set forth in the said "Municipality Authorities Act of 1945," as amended or supplemented, and shall have all of the powers granted by said Act.
The project or projects to be undertaken by said Authority shall be those specified by the Municipal Authorities of the Borough of Kane from time to time by subsequent resolutions or ordinances.
