The County is divided into seven election districts, in accordance with this chapter.
The boundary lines of the First Election District of Queen Anne's County shall run as follows: Beginning at the bridge spanning that branch of Chester River known as Sewell's Branch and sometimes known as Andover Branch, at a place known as Turner's Mills at the end of Kent County Road No. 10 and running thence with the center of the public road known as the Unicorn Branch Road, County Road No. 27 in the Seventh Election District, to Stephens Corners; thence with the Peters Corners Road and the Hackett Corners Road or County Road No. 26 in the Seventh Election District, to Hackett Corners; thence in a straight line in a generally southwesterly direction to the intersection of the center lines of the Maryland Route No. 71 (Blue Star Memorial Highway) and Maryland Route No. 290; thence with Maryland Route No. 290 to Maryland Route No. 300 at Dudley Corners; thence with Maryland Route No. 300 in a westerly direction to the intersection of the Crane Swamp Road; thence in a southerly direction with the center of the Crane Swamp Road, or County Road No. 18 in the Second Election District, to Roberts and the intersection of the last named road with Maryland Route No. 19; thence with the center line of Maryland Route No. 19 to Ingleside; thence with the center line of Maryland Route No. 305 to the intersection of the Charles Walls Road; thence with the Charles Walls Road, or County Road No. 10 in the Second Election District, in a generally southeasterly direction to Maryland Route No. 313; thence with the center line of Maryland Route No. 313 in a generally southeasterly direction to the Caroline County line; thence by and with the Caroline County line in a generally northeasterly direction to the intersection of said Caroline County line with the Kent County, Delaware line; thence with the Kent County, Delaware line to the Kent County, Maryland line at Sewell's Branch; thence in a generally westerly direction with the Kent County, Maryland line to the place of beginning.
The boundary lines of the Second Election District of Queen Anne's County shall run as follows: Beginning at the middle of the mouth of Southeast Creek where the same intersects the Kent County line in the middle of Chester River and running thence with the center of Southeast Creek to the point where Island Creek runs into Southeast Creek; thence with the center line of Island Creek to the point where the same is intersected by Granny Finley Branch; thence with the center line of the Granny Finley Branch to the point where the Granny Finley Branch intersects the Granny Branch Road, County Road No. 8 in the Second Election District; thence with the center line of the said road in a generally southerly direction to Hayden; thence in a generally easterly direction with the center line of the Hayden-Clark Corners Road, or County Road No. 15 in the Second Election District, to Clark Corners; thence in a easterly direction with the center line of the Clark Corners Road, or County Road No. 12 in the Second Election District, to the point where the same intersects Maryland Route No. 305; thence with the center line of Maryland Route No. 305 to the point of intersection with Maryland Route No. 19 at Ingleside; thence with the center line of Maryland Route No. 19 to the point of intersection with the Crane Swamp Road at Roberts; thence with the center line of the Crane Swamp Road, or County Road No. 18 in the Second Election District, to Maryland Route No. 300; thence with the center line of Maryland Route No. 300 in a southwesterly direction to the I B Road; thence with the center line of the I B Road, or County Road No. 19 in the Second Election District, to I B; thence with the center line of the Bowers Corner-Burchard Corner Road and the center line of the Sheriff Meredith Road, to the point where the last mentioned road intersects the Ewingville Road, said point being known as Baxter Corner (said line from I B to Baxter Corner running with the roads which are designated as County Road No. 20 in the Second Election District); and running thence with the center line of the Ewingville Road and the Baxter Road through the Union School Corner to the point where Baxter Road intersects Maryland Route No. 544 at point known as Catlin Corner (said line from Baxter Corner to Catlin Corner, running with the roads which are designated as County Road No. 21 in the Second Election District); thence with the center line of Maryland Route No. 544 in a generally southwesterly direction to the point where the same is intersected by Rosin Creek; thence by and with the center line of Rosin Creek to the point where the same intersects the Kent County line in the middle of the Chester River; thence by and with the center line of the Chester River and the Kent County line to the place of beginning.
The boundary lines of the Third Election District of Queen Anne's County shall run as follows: Beginning for the same at the middle of the mouth of Southeast Creek where the same intersects the Kent County line in the middle of Chester River and running thence with the center line of Southeast Creek to the point where Island Creek runs into Southeast Creek; thence with the center line of Island Creek to the point where the same is intersected by Granny Finley Branch; thence with the center line of the Granny Finley Branch to the point where the Granny Finley Branch intersects the Granny Branch Road, County Road No. 8 in the Second Election District; thence with the center line of the said road in a generally southerly direction to Hayden; thence with the center line of the Hayden-White Marsh Road, or County Road No. 23 in the Third Election District, to the point where the same intersects the center line of the Robinson Road; thence with the center line of the Robinson, or County Road No. 22 in the Third Election District, to Maryland Route No. 305; thence in an easterly direction with Maryland Route No. 305 to the point where the same intersects the center line of the Carville Lane Road at Carville; thence by and with the center line of the Carville Lane Road, or County Road No. 21 in the Third Election District, to the point where the same intersects Maryland Route No. 304; running from thence in a straight line to the point where Maryland Route No. 303 and the Grange Hall Road intersect at Starr; thence with the center line of Maryland Route No. 303 in a southeasterly direction to the point where the same intersects the center line of the Willoughby-Starr Road; thence with the center line of the Willoughby-Starr Road, or County Road No. 15 in the Third Election District, to the point where the same intersects Maryland Route No. 404 and the Talbot County line at Willoughby; thence with the Talbot County line to the point where the same is intersected by the center line of Maryland Route No. 662 at Wye Mills; thence with the center line of Maryland Route No. 662 and the center line of U.S. Route No. 213 to the point where the latter road is intersected by Madam Alice's Branch, sometimes known as Madam Ailsie's Branch; thence in a generally northwesterly direction in a straight line to a point on the head waters of Brown's or Reed's-Tanyard Branch where a concrete monument is to be placed; running thence down and with the center line of Brown's or Reed's-Tanyard Branch and by and with the center line of Reed's Creek to the point where the same intersects the Kent County line in the middle of the Chester River; thence by and with the Kent County line and the center of the Chester River to the place of beginning.
The Fourth Election District consisting of Kent Island and small outlying islands, shall be bounded as follows: Beginning for the same in the center of Chesapeake Bay where the lines of Anne Arundel, Kent and Queen Anne's Counties intersect, and running thence with the line of Kent County to a point in the middle of the Chester River which bears North 44 degrees east (magnetic) from the middle of the Kent Narrows Highway bridge; and running thence to the point where the center line of Kent Narrows empties into Chester River and from thence with the center line of Kent Narrows and the center line of Prospect Bay to the Talbot County line; and running from thence with the Talbot County line to the point where the lines of Anne Arundel, Talbot and Queen Anne's Counties intersect; and running thence by and with the Anne Arundel County line to the place of beginning.
The boundary lines of the Fifth Election District of Queen Anne's County shall run as follows: Beginning with the point in Chester River which bears 44 degrees east (magnetic) from the middle of Kent Narrows Highway bridge; and running thence to the point where the center line of Kent Narrows empties into Chester River and from thence with the center line of Kent Narrows and the center line of Prospect Bay to the Talbot County line; and running thence by and with the Talbot County line to Wye Mills; thence with the center line of Maryland Route No. 662 and the center line of U.S. Route No. 213 to the point where the latter road is intersected by Madam Alice's Branch, sometimes known as Madam Ailsie's Branch; thence in a generally northwesterly direction in a straight line to a point on the head waters of Brown's or Reed's-Tanyard Branch where a concrete monument is to be placed; running thence down and with the center line of Brown's or Reed's-Tanyard Branch and by and with the center line of Reed's Creek to the point where the same intersects the Kent County line in the middle of the Chester River; thence by and with the Kent County line and the center of the Chester River to the place of beginning.
The boundary lines of the Sixth Election District of Queen Anne's County shall run as follows: Beginning at the point in Queen Anne where the Caroline County, Talbot County and Queen Anne's County lines join and running thence by and with the Caroline County line to the point where the same intersects Maryland Route No. 313, thence by and with Maryland Route 313 to the point where the same is intersected by the Charles Walls Road, thence by and with the Charles Walls Road, or County Road No. 10 in the Second Election District, to the point where the same intersects Maryland Route No. 305; thence by and with Maryland Route No. 305 in a southwesterly direction to the point where the same intersects the Clark Corners Road and running thence by and with the Clark Corners Road, or County Road No. 12 in the Second Election District, to Clark Corners, thence by and with the Hayden-Clark Corners Road, or County Road No. 15 in the Second Election District to Hayden; thence with the center line of the Hayden-White Marsh Road, or County Road No. 23 in the Third Election District, to the point where the same intersects the center line of the Robinson Road; thence with the center line of the Robinson Road, or County Road No. 22 in the Third Election District, to Maryland Route No. 305; thence in an easterly direction with Maryland Route No. 305 to the point where the same intersects the center line of the Carville Lane Road in Carville; thence by and with the center line of the Carville Lane Road, or County Road No. 21 in the Third Election District to the point where the same intersects Maryland Route No. 304; and running from thence in a straight line to the point where Maryland Route No. 303 and the Grange Hall Road intersect at Starr; thence with the center line of Maryland Route No. 303 in a southeasterly direction to the point where the same intersects the center line of the Willoughby-Starr Road; thence with the center line of the Willoughby-Starr Road, or County Road No. 15 in the Third Election District, to the point where the same intersects Maryland Route No. 404 and the Talbot County line at Willoughby; thence in a southeasterly direction by and with the Talbot County line to the place of beginning.
